High surveillance release for gang leader Gregory Woolley

Before his arrest after the Magot-Mastiff investigation in November 2015, Gregory Woolley was considered one of the leaders of a mafia-biker gang alliance that led organized crime in Montreal. A trusted man of the late godfather Vito Rizzuto, his was the glue that held the alliance together. He took advantage of the SharQc decimation of the HA in 2009 to get closer to Stefano Sollecito, whom cops considered the head of the Montreal mafia. "He's watching my back, I'm watching his" Sollecito said of Woolley on tapes. Five years later, sources are wondering if Sollecito's influence as the leader of the Sicilian clan of the Montreal mafia has wained, along with Woolley's. The HA are now the strongest in Quebec, by far. Woolley had a direct hand with Maurice Boucher in the plot to kill Raynald Desjardins. This was not unanimous among the bikers. Woolley may no longer have the same importance as before. Woolley has strict conditions. He will not be able to associate with anyone with a criminal background or linked to a criminal organization. A relative of Woolley's, Dany Sprinces-Cadet, was also released on parole three weeks ago, and Jean Winsing Barthelus, in early 2019. None may have contact with each other.

Feds seize $3.5m in Mexican cartel cash, drugs, ammo in San Diego bust

Three Mexican nationals tied to the Sinaloa cartel were charged after U.S. agents discovered a massive stockpile of cash, drugs and ammunition at a San Diego truck yard just north of the Mexico border in Otay Mesa.

The haul included $3.5m in cash, 685 kg of cocaine, 24 kg of fentanyl, around 20,000 rounds of .50-caliber ammunition and hundreds of body armor vests.

Repatriated bikie boss Amad 'Jay' Malkoun is set to reap millions from a proposed housing estate on his farm in Donnybrook, 35 km north of Melbourne. The value of the land has increased exponentially and is now worth about $20m, 3 times that when residential development is complete. Malkoun supplied drug making chemicals to Tony Mokbel at the height of his criminal empire. Police documents released by the Lawyer X Royal Commission have linked the pair for the first time.

Bikie boss and convicted heroin trafficker Amad "Jay" Malkoun returned to Melbourne in June after seven years in Dubai and barely surviving a car bomb in Greece. He is said to need crutches to walk. Malkoun is reported to be negotiating with a senior Mongols figure about defecting. The return of the former boss of the Comancheros was expected to inflame tensions and it has.

Sydney's south-west is at the center of over a dozen drive-by shootings in recent weeks.

Sentenced to a decade in prison in 1988 for $5.5m of heroin, Malkoun has a criminal network spanning Asia and Europe, including Russia, where he started a Comancheros chapter.

DEA busts $1.5m electric narcosub - update

The high-capacity narco submarine was found on the Cucurrupí River in the Chocó area of Colombia. It would have carried some six metric tons of cocaine, valued at around $120m. Most narco submarines carry around 1.6 metric tons of cocaine, worth $30m to 35m. Virtually all narco submarines interdicted at sea have been more correctly termed low-profile vessels (LPVs). They are semi-submersibles, designed to run low in the water to avoid detection. They cannot fully submerge. With an estimated endurance of 12 hours, this narcosub could remain submerged for 32 nautical miles

The Colombian military, working with the DEA, discovered a new type of narcosub that runs on battery power and is designed to completely submerge for short periods. The vessel can carry 6 metric tons of cocaine. The boat carries 10 tons of batteries, giving it enough power to remain submerged for up to 12 hours while running at three knots. Analysts believe the boat was designed to be towed by another boat. Once near its destination, the narcosub would be cut loose and proceed under its own power. After the $1.5m sub unloaded it's cargo, it would be sent to the bottom. Features include a fully enclosed, cylindrical hull, a hex-shaped viewing port with windows for navigating, and four dive planes designed to allow it to submerge underwater.

South American drug cartels invented narcosubs. The boats first appeared as an alternative to go-fast boats, which are more likely to be intercepted. The cartels continuously up their game.

SA prison gang leader Ernest Solomon whacked

The prison Number gangs are so cruel that sometimes a father kills his own son or the son kills his father because of “this Number we believe in”, said former leader of the 28s gang Ernest “Ernie Lastig” Solomon in a video clip that was recorded before his murder. Solomon was gunned down in Boksburg, Gauteng. His car was forced off the road by a Ford Ranger and then gunmen in that vehicle fired an avalanch of shots into Solomon’s BMW, killing him. The hit on Solomon was similar to the one carried out on 9 April 2019 in Gauteng on Serbian national Ivan Djordjevic, when gunmen fired shots through the roof of Djordjevic’s bulletproof Mercedes-Benz. "Be careful, you are going to kill your family and your own community and after that your own brothers are going to kill you,” Solomon warned.

Deonte Lee Murray, 36, is facing two counts of attempted murder of a peace officer and possession of a firearm after walking up to a car on Sept. 12 and opening fire.

One cop was shot in the jaw while her partner was shot in the head. Both cops are at home recovering. The two officers “became victims of a violent crime for one reason. They were doing their job and they were wearing a badge.” Murray faces life in prison if convicted. He is associated with multiple gangs and has prior convictions for sales and possession of narcotics, firearm possession by a felon or addict, receiving stolen property, burglary and terrorist threats.

Habiba Kajan sues the basterds for $3.3m

Habiba Kajan, 44, has launched a lawsuit against an insurance company for $3.3m after it refused a payout on an arson. Kajan’s home was gutted by a fire on Dec. 19, 2019, less than two weeks after she was arrested as part of Operation Hobart, an investigation into Robert Bartletta's multimillion-dollar gambling ring. The insurer says she violated her policy for many reasons.

The house at 203 Commissioners Rd. E. was used to launder proceeds of crime, store illegal guns and facilitate an illegal gambling operation.

The insurer says Kajan violated her policy by not disclosing her links to the Hells Angels. Kajan also misrepresented herself as the sole owner of the home. Kajan bought the property in 2016. A restriction order on the property prohibits its sale.

Surrey Hells Angels clubhouse searched by RCMP

Surrey RCMP executed a search warrant overnight Friday at the Hells Angels Hardside clubhouse. The search is related to the arrest of Gurpreet Dhaliwal, a prospect with the Hardside chapter and Meninder Dhaliwal, who is linked to the Brother Keepers. They were busted with a weapon.The Hardside chapter opened in March 2017. It is the 10th HA chapter in B.C. since 1983.

Jammar Allison hit linked to Mob

Jammar Allison was abducted from the parking lot of a Rexdale Blvd. eatery on June 1, 2018 by three men. At the time of his disappearance, an underworld war was raging in southern Ontario. His body was eventually discovered in a secluded area in Hamilton. In recent years, crime groups have outsourced their killing to street gangs. His three kidnappers, who fled in a black Dodge Caravan, were only described as Black. The kidnappers made numerous phone calls to his family and a ransom was paid. But after the ransom was paid, the phone calls stopped.

Wild west gang shootout in Toronto

It was a wild west shootout Oct. 29 on Larkin Ave. Two men fired 30 rounds into an oncoming car. Cops say the shooting is connected to Project Siphon, which broke up the No Money Suh Sick gang’s operation.

By the time cops arrived all they found were shell casings. A driver of a shot up grey Mercedes was found unhurt. One weapon used appears to be a MAC-10 machine pistol/submachine gun.

Civil forfeiture rears head against HA West Point supporter - update

Cops seized more than 1,400 pounds of illicit cannabis and 330 grams of psilocybin.

Cops in Delta busted a grow op capable of producing $18m of pot per year. Cops lassoed cocaine, meth, fentanyl, crack cocaine, ecstasy and oxycodone.

Three Harley Davidsons sporting "Support your local Hells Angels" stickers were seized along with $193k in cash and $70k in rings. Two ATVs and seven vehicles were part of the seizure. Cops say some of the cars had hidden compartments. Guns included a Walther Waffenfabrik 9mm with loaded magazine; a Swiss Arms .22, a Heckler and Koch .40-calibre pistol; and an SKS-style assault rifle. A taser and body armour rounded out the seized items.

The B.C. Forfeiture Office claims that houses in Delta and Abbotsford, and commercial properties in Delta and Richmond, along with two vehicles, two Harley Davidson motorcycles, jewelry and cash exceeding $260k should be forfeited as proceeds of crime. One Harley had a “Support Your Local Hells Angels West Point” sticker.

5282 Williams Ave. in Delta, is owned by Norval McLennan. It’s valued at $1.5m.

Cimoszko was in the middle of a court battle over $12,270 cops seized in a 2017 traffic stop.

The total is $4.8m and is said to be linked to drug trafficking and money laundering. Named in the suit are Gill Thomas Rajpaul Bergen, Norval Hume McLennan, Aleksandr Leonidovitch Shtraimish and Cole Chalmers Svensen. In 2018 West Point HA Lukasz Cimoszko, 36, died of a drug overdose.

Gangster moll recruited kids for drug lines

Naliah Noreen, 23, and her two brothers ran five drug lines in the UK which made or fielded 54,000 calls over a four month period and had up to 1,200 customers. The mother of one forced a 15-year-old boy into becoming a 'runner' after telling him he owed the gang money. He was driven around so he could make door-to-door deliveries of heroin and cocaine. Noreen admitted conspiracy to supply cocaine and heroin plus money laundering.

Her brothers Asad Ali, 19 and Ratib Ali, 20, and their housemate Janaid Rehman, 18 were jailed at earlier hearings. Her boyfriend Mohammed Abu Khan, 28, is serving 90 months in jail.

Noreen is described as arrogant, with a caustic attitude. During an interview she told cops: "Better get me the fuck out of here or I'm going to kick off." Her lawyer said: "Her conduct was born out of personal circumstances and she was very much under direction of her boyfriend at the time. Cops seized 13 kilos of Class A drugs and more than £100k in cash. Noreen was sentenced to five years in jail.

‘Tony Meatballs’ among 15 mobsters nailed in Philadelphia

Wiseguy boss Anthony 'Tony Meatballs' Gifoli, 72, was named in a grand jury indictment along with others including underboss Steven 'Stevie' Mazzone and capo Domenic 'Mr. Hopkins' Grande. More than a dirty dozen South Philly mobsters are charged. They are accused of everything from illegal sports betting to heroin peddling to loan sharking. Mobsters targeted include Louis 'Louie Sheep' Barretta, Joseph 'Joey Electric' Servidio and Daniel 'Harry' Castelli.

The crime syndicate was working from Philadelphia to Atlantic City. The feds laid out the Mafia hierarchy in court documents, as well as offered definitions for key mob terms. Philadelphia and its surrounding area has been continuously under siege from the same Mafia family since 1931. The seven-count indictment against the men includes charges of racketeering conspiracy, extortion, illegal gambling and narcotics distribution.

'Joey Electric' boasted of many rackets, ranging from drug-dealing and bank fraud to armored-car heists.

Joseph Servidio wasn't shy when talking about who he was and where his money came from. “I’m a criminal,” the Philadelphia mob soldier told an associate in 2017. “Everything I do is criminal.” Later, he boasted: “There’s nothing better than making money. I make money every day, illegally.” Those thoughts where caught on FBI wiretaps and landed Servidio 15 years in the big house. Servidio pleaded guilty to charges of peddling pills laced with heroin and fentanyl in Atlantic City.

Servidio confessed based in part on how thoroughly the wire recordings torpedoded him.

Roberto González Montes arrested for Mormon slaughter

Roberto González Montes, the leader of La Línea, “El32” or “El Mudo,” meaning the mute, was arrested. The massacre came during a war between Montes’ La Línea and the Sinaloa Cartel. Nine who died were part of a convoy of 17 ambushed in Sonora. The dead and injured were all members of La Mora, a settlement in Sonora, an offshoot of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Some of the children were burned alive.

La Mora contains 35 homes with 150 people. Roberto González Montes was arrested with other suspected cartel figures Eulalio Domínguez Alanís and Santiago Casavantes Radovich.
