Deonte Lee Murray, 36, is facing two counts of attempted murder of a peace officer and possession of a firearm after walking up to a car on Sept. 12 and opening fire. |
One cop was shot in the jaw while her partner was shot in the head. Both cops are at home recovering. The two officers “became victims of a violent crime for one reason. They were doing their job and they were wearing a badge.” Murray faces life in prison if convicted. He is associated with multiple gangs and has prior convictions for sales and possession of narcotics, firearm possession by a felon or addict, receiving stolen property, burglary and terrorist threats. |
