Cop shooter Deonte Lee Murray looking at long time

Deonte Lee Murray, 36, is facing two counts of attempted murder of a peace officer and possession of a firearm after walking up to a car on Sept. 12 and opening fire.
One cop was shot in the jaw while her partner was shot in the head. Both cops are at home recovering. The two officers “became victims of a violent crime for one reason. They were doing their job and they were wearing a badge.”

Murray faces life in prison if convicted. He is associated with multiple gangs and has prior convictions for sales and possession of narcotics, firearm possession by a felon or addict, receiving stolen property, burglary and terrorist threats.
