Habiba Kajan sues the basterds for $3.3m

Habiba Kajan
Habiba Kajan, 44, has launched a lawsuit against an insurance company for $3.3m after it refused a payout on an arson. Kajan’s home was gutted by a fire on Dec. 19, 2019, less than two weeks after she was arrested as part of Operation Hobart, an investigation into Robert Bartletta's multimillion-dollar gambling ring. The insurer says she violated her policy for many reasons. The house at 203 Commissioners Rd. E. was used to launder proceeds of crime, store illegal guns and facilitate an illegal gambling operation.
The insurer says Kajan violated her policy by not disclosing her links to the Hells Angels. Kajan also misrepresented herself as the sole owner of the home. Kajan bought the property in 2016.

A restriction order on the property prohibits its sale.
