Comanchero Boss Amad 'Jay' Malkoun's car blown up in Athens - Update

Fearing attack, Amad 'Jay' Malkoun has checked himself out of hospital against doctor's wishes. Police had speculated Malkoun had gotten caught up with a local gang war since his arrival in Greece. He is believed to have established a base in Greece to align with Russian gang members. He was left with extensive burns to his legs and arms. Dynamite residue was found on the Mercedes.
Amad 'Jay' Malkoun the former Victorian president of the Comancheros who fled Australia, has been seriously injured after his car exploded in Athens. It's near where Oz gangster John Macris was assassinated. Greek media are reporting that Malkoun, who has lived in Greece since 2017, was injured when his car exploded as he turned the ignition key.Bystanders pulled the burned Malkoun out of the wreck conscious. He was rushed to hospital.
Malkoun is a convicted heroin trafficker, and fled Australia with his family to Dubai. It isn't known if the bombing is connected to the hit on Sydney gangster John Macris, who died in October after being shot five times as he got into his car in a neighboring suburb.
