N.B. Ford dealership finds 7kg of Meth

On Feb. 27, the OPP reported that drugs had been concealed in new vehicles built at a Ford plant in Mexico, then transported to Canada on rail cars.Woodstock Police says they were contacted by Corey Ford on Feb. 7 about a suspicious spare tire that did not match the make and model of the vehicle.

Police say they seized the tire and found the drugs. It’s believed the discovery is linked to a recent multi-jurisdictional investigation into drugs sent to Canada by the Sinaloa cartel.
In total, 180kg of meth has been seized.
