Pat Musitano killing Memorial Day - the Johnny Papalia hit

John Joseph Papalia "The Enforcer" was boss of the Papalia crime family, one of three major crime families in Hamilton, the others being the Musitano and Luppino crime family. On May 31, 1997, Papalia was shot to death by Kenneth Murdock, a hit man hired by Angelo and Pat Musitano. Murdock also killed Papalia's right-hand man Carmen Barillaro two months later. Papalia was a made man in the Buffalo family, and boss of the Papalia's hugely profitable Ontario gambling operations.Experts say the mob can wait decades for revenge, and the seeds of the demise of the Musitanos was laid 23 years ago with the murder of a boss.
Mobster Pasquale (Pat) Musitano was shot to death at a plaza in Burlington, Ont. He was targeted for death multiple times. He was shot on April 25, 2019 in a Mississauga, Ont. parking lot while leaving his lawyer’s office. On May 2, 2017, his brother Angelo was fatally gunned down.
