10 Gambinos were indicted for strong arming New York’s waste haulage industry. For years they committed violent extortions, assaults, arson, witness retaliation, fraud and embezzlement to dominate the New York carting and demolition industries. Charged are capo Joseph 'Joe Brooklyn' Lanni, Diego 'Danny' Tantillo, Robert Brooke, Salvatore DiLorenzo, Angelo 'Fifi' Gradilone, Kyle 'Twin' Johnson, James LaForte, Vincent 'Vinny Slick' Minsquero, Vito 'Vi' Rappa and Franceso 'Uncle Ciccio' Vicari. Joseph 'Joe Brooklyn' Lanni and sidekick Vincent 'Vinny Slick' Minsquero were at Roxy's Bar and Grille in Toms River Sept 1, 2023 when they got into an argument with a patron. They threatened to burn the New Jersey restaurant to the ground after getting thrown out — and might have done it if an underling didn't stop him. Lanni told the owner he would "burn this place down with you in it."

The big mouth Lanni actually referred to himself as 'a Gambino' during the fracas.
