The 29.54-acre lot on which the Sherbrooke Hells Angels' former clubhouse stood before it was demolished is up for sale again, this time for $1.9m. Last April, the Director of Criminal and Penal Prosecutions sold the property for $775k. Dany Sévigny and René Roy are the owners. The value of the land located at 1575 Wellington Street South was assessed at $117,800. There are onerous building restrictions in place to prevent another bunker from being built. The fate of the lair of the Hells Angels Sherbrooke chapter was heard in Superior Court in Montreal after a multi-year legal ordeal. |
In November 2015, the Director of Criminal and Penal Prosecutions (DPCP) filed a motion for the forfeiture of the bunker and the land at 1575 Wellington Street South. In total, unpaid taxes to the city amounted to $43,909. Sherbrooke city wanted to recover those taxes. |
