Benjamin 'Bugsy' Siegel was killed June 20, 1947 aged 41. Nine bullets were fired through a window with a .30-caliber. The first shot hit Siegel in the eye, the second one in his right cheek. Two others struck him in the chest. Walter Sage was a hitman for Murder Inc. His bound body was pulled from Swan Lake in the Catskills. He was killed for skimming mob cash from slot machine profits.
