Ron Clause, 51, is charged with assaulting a peace officer. | A man charged with attacking an OPP officer during a traffic stop has links to an outlaw motorcycle club and a past conviction for assaulting a cop. Ron Clause was charged with assaulting a Middlesex OPP officer last week after cops pulled over a pickup truck that they say was carrying a gun, ammunition and 27 grams of meth. Clause was convicted of the same crime in 1996 and sentenced to four months in jail. A separate charge of assaulting a police officer that year was withdrawn. |
Ryan Mark Daigneault | Clause’s social media connections include Outlaws. One of them is Ryan Mark Daigneault, president of the London Outlaws chapter, who was charged with organizing a hit on a Hells Angels three years ago. The Crown withdrew the charge against Daigneault in 2018, one week before he was supposed to go to trial for counselling to commit murder. The Hells Angels were said to be not pleased and would seek retribution. “The Hells Angels will lose credibility if nothing happens,” one Outlaw said. Nothing happened. London HAMC Chapter president is Rob Barletta. |
