Shots were fired at the Hells Angels new Bronx headquarters. Police said the clubhouse was damaged in a hail of bullets around 10:30 p.m. yesterday. No one was injured. “Everyone’s worst fears have materialized,” Bronx Community Board 10 District Manager Matt Cruz said. “For this to happen after the holiday, and children are not back in school — it’s now a serious concern for this community. The community is upset and scared.” |
It is being reported cops found 14 shell casings littering the property. The shots were said to have been fired by a group on motorcycles.
| Roaring motorcycles and all night partying has arrived to the once quiet Bronx neighborhood where the HA have just set up shop. A noisy gathering at the headquarters in December has already disturbed neighbors. “You could hear them, they were loud,” said one resident, whose once peaceful home overlooks the clubhouse at 241 Longstreet Ave. “Oh, my God, they were going the whole weekend, literally through the night.”
Bikers are giving out copious dirty looks and staring down anybody with the nerve to observe their comings and goings. A spokesperson says more events are planned and residents are being told to leave if they don't like it.
