Sophon Sek was a child when he came to Canada from Cambodia. Now, the 39-year-old gangster convicted of helping the Surrey Six killers will be returning to the country he left more than 30 years ago. Sek remains in custody until the CBSA secures travel documents. Sek gained statutory release in September after serving two-thirds of his nearly six-year sentence for trafficking, firearms offences and break and enter. The break and enter count was connected to his role in aiding Red Scorpions on Oct. 19, 2007, where they murdered six. |
