In April 2009 Khan was busted for public sex acts with a 'companion'. He was found packing a prohibited pistol and faced six weapons charges. Media reported at the time that he had a long police record for assault, firearms offences, possession of a controlled substance for the purposes of trafficking and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm. Khan has a lifetime ban to possess firearms.

| Winnipeg police have seized nearly $3 million worth of drugs and other property — including a semi. Dubbed Project Riverbank, it resulted in the arrest of 10 people in Winnipeg, who are all facing multiple drug trafficking and possession charges. In Manitoba alone, three kilograms of methamphetamine, 11 kilograms of cocaine, 170 grams of heroin, and two kilograms of ketamine were seized. Seized items included $121,000 in cash, a Walther P99 9-mm semi-automatic handgun and ammunition, and $404,500 worth of vehicles. Across the four western provinces, the combined value of drugs, property, and cash seized is approximately $2.7 million. That includes $899,260 in drugs, $1,408,500 in vehicles, and $378,740 in cash. |
