He lost his licence in 2001 after he was convicted of fraud. He ripped off 21 clients for $1.2m. He gambled the money away. The law society covered losses. After serving his 3 year sentence, Kolman was arrested again a few years later for another fraud. In 2015, he was one of 19 busted in an investigation targeting the 'Ndrangheta in the GTA.
Kolman was charged with conspiracy to commit extortion, counselling an offence and committing an offence for a criminal organization.  |
