![]() Carmine Alfonso Maiorano | Carmine Alfonso Maiorano, 68, is a leader of the Italian 'Ndrangheta. He was captured last week in the town of Guernica in the province of Buenos Aires. An international arrest warrant was issued for Maiorano in 2015, and Interpol launched an effort in 2020 to coordinate international efforts to take him down. The 'Ndrangheta established itself in Argentina several years ago, according to cops. They operate in tandem with Albanian counterparts in Europe.
