U.K. Gangster, impaled in 2014, top Russian Mob money launderer

52-year-old Scot Young was fatally impaled on railings outside his luxury London home in 2014. He was a top money launderer for the Russian mob.

Young, who died after falling from a fourth-floor window onto wrought iron spikes, had warned police he was being targeted by hitmen. Young was a go-to fixer for billionaire Boris Berezovsky, a friend-turned-critic of Russian president Vladimir Putin.

Russian billionaire Boris Berezovsky was found hanged in his home in 2013.
In 2014 police initially said Young's death was not suspicious, before an inquest found 'conflicting evidence'.

Young stashed vast amounts of mob cash in an array of luxury UK properties, vehicles, private jets and helicopters.
