 | 41-year-old Wesley McKenzie was arrested two days after the murder of Francis Turgeon on May 8 in Repentigny. Initially, he was accused of conspiracy. He was incarcerated at the Saint-Jérôme prison when he heard the news of an upgraded charge of first degree murder.
 |  33-year-old Turgeon was reportedly killed for repeatedly failing to respect the territory that had been allocated to him. He had received warnings shortly before his death, including a visit by two thugs who beat him up. |
