![]() | André Sauvageau's sudden death on Sunday at the Rivière-des-Prairies prison is not thought to be suspicious. The veteran Hells of the Montreal chapter would have turned 63 next week. He was found dead in his cell. He had heart issues. Sauvageau was detained since July 2016 following his arrest in the police operation Magot. He faced charges of conspiracy, cocaine trafficking and gangsterism. His cocaine smuggling ring in the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve district was thought to be worth "several million" a year. | ![]() |
