Tenny Guon Lim, 38, pleaded guilty in B.C. Supreme Court to one count of possession of heroin for the purpose of trafficking. Lim’s co-accused, Randy Per, an Air Canada employee at the time, used his status at the airport to gain access to a warehouse where a package that had been shipped from South Asia was being stored awaiting approval for entry to Canada. |
The judge told Lim. “I’m told that although you were only declaring $47,000 in income on your tax returns, your lifestyle showed that you had significantly more funds available than that income would have supported.” Lim is giving up his rights as a co-owner of a West Vancouver property that has been sold and the proceeds paid into the court. The Crown is also seeking forfeiture of a home on Rosebery Avenue as proceeds-of-crime. |
