Peterborough drug dealer Kyle Gozzard = 7 years

Kyle Gozzard, 27, pleaded guilty to trafficking carfentanil and cocaine. Cops seized $138k in cash, nearly a kilogram of cocaine and three ounces of carfentanil. There have been 26 overdose deaths reported in Peterborough this year.

Gozzard apparently wasn't impressed with his six months in jail for trafficking cocaine and violating his bail in 2015. Back then, while on probation for other offenses, he was busted with 168.2 grams of cocaine and $2,744.35 in cash. This time around one expects to see a significant custodial sentence for the protection of the public. Rehabilitation seems to not be working. Gozzard will be sentenced in November. He remains in custody.

The fallout from Trump's meeting with Pelosi has taken a new turn. The story from Republican sources present is that Trump was screaming uncontrollably after Pelosi commented that 'all roads in Syria lead to Russia'. Reports from his own camp now suggest he was acting completely out of his mind.

Wild outbursts, erratic behavior, and bizarre fixations are now a daily event for Trump.

Aids to Trump say his mood changes from one minute to the next based on some headline or tweet. He becomes fixated on his false claims, for example that Hurricane Dorian was going to hit Alabama. He railed against the media for fact-checking him on the clearly false claim. As Hurricane Dorian made its way to the US, Trump took breaks in between golfing to post more than 120 tweets. "this nonsense has never happened to another President. Four days of corrupt reporting, still without an apology." ANYTHING that contradicts his view is called 'false news'. Trump becomes aggressive and belligerent when his statements are questioned.

The term anosognosia refers to a person with acute mental illness who may not be making a conscious choice. They may instead be experiencing 'lack of insight' or 'lack of awareness.' Anosognosia is Greek meaning “to not know a disease.” Early studies of anosognosia indicated that 30% of people with schizophrenia and 20% of people with bipolar disorder experienced 'severe' lack of awareness. For a person with anosognosia, this inaccurate insight feels real and is completely convincing.

Trump's most-repeated claims tend to become  more exaggerated over time. The often repeated story that a top general complained about a lack of bullets is patently ridiculous. Perhaps the most troubling rationale is one that he used in Texas yesterday ... he’s not crazy; anyone who doubts him is. His supporters just need to recognize the madness of his enemies, and then everything he says will make perfect sense. Trump made at least 26 false claims in his 87-minute speech in Dallas, including a declaration that Texas had somehow profited "billions and billions" from Hurricane Harvey in 2017.

Sinaloa Cartel rescues Ovidio Guzman

Heavy gunfire filled the streets of Culiacán on Thursday. Members of the cartel deployed across the city with military-grade weapons and in superior force, a live-streamed example of their power over the State. Mexican officials briefly detained Ovidio Guzman, one of Guzman’s sons who has emerged as a leading figure in the cartel. After freeing dozens of prisoners and turning the city into an urban war zone, Mexican authorities decided to release Guzman. Security Minister Alfonso Durazo told Reuters that Guzman was released to protect lives; the cartel took eight government soldiers hostage, as a bargaining chip to secure the cartel heir’s release.

The decision to detain and then almost immediately free one of Mexico’s most wanted drug traffickers was a humiliation for Mexico’s government.

HA associate Gaetan Sevigny whacked in Terrebonne

Well known HA associate Gaetan Sevigny, the owner of a towing company, was sentenced this past June to more than five years in prison on gangsterism, conspiracy and drug trafficking charges, but served only two days of that sentence due to time he had already served. The Surete du Quebec did not confirm the identity of the victim found this morning, but did say that he was a figure linked to organized crime.

'We sold a lot of cocaine. I made a lot of money,' dealer turned rat

Chris Tessier was living like a rock star. The paid police agent told his OPP handlers he raked in a cool $3 million a year dealing cocaine before signing a $600k contract for his co-operation. “We sold a lot of cocaine. I made a lot of money. If I said at the time it was $3 million, it would have been close to that.”

Tessier turned police informant targeting David 'Hollywood' Bullen, who pleaded guilty to 25 charges.

Two of Tessier's co-conspirators, Eric Corbeil, who arranged deliveries of cocaine by the kilo from Montreal to Ottawa, and “runner” Martin LeBlanc were sentenced in February for their roles. Two other alleged members, Todd Coughlin and Richard Craig, pleaded not guilty. Police at that time raided 25 homes and businesses and seized 2.5 kilos of cocaine, handguns, a half-million in cash, seven vehicles and a Robinson R44 helicopter.

HA Robin Moulton out and about

Full-patch Robin Moulton of the Hells Angels New Brunswick Nomads chapter has been granted day parole, despite opposition from local police and Correctional Service Canada. Cops say Moulton returned to his home province of New Brunswick in 2016 with the purpose of setting up a chapter for the Hells Angels. The New Brunswick Nomads chapter is part of an eastern expansion, which also established a chapter in Charlottetown this year.

Moulton, 50, was sentenced last October to 4½ years in prison for possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

Moulton was charged in August 2017. Cops had Moulton under surveillance for months. After covertly installing a motion-activated camera in a locker, cops watched as Moulton used a hydraulic press to cut cocaine into bricks. The cocaine seized had 35% purity.

The sentence was Moulton's second federal prison term. In 2008, he was sentenced to 64 months in prison for two counts of trafficking cocaine and one of possession of a prohibited restricted firearm.

Otto "Abbadabba" Berman

Otto "Abbadabba" Berman (1889 – October 23, 1935), was an American organized crime accountant and advisor to gangster Dutch Schultz. He is known for coining the phrase "Nothing personal, it is just business." Berman was killed by gunmen hired by the Commission and Louis Buchalter to eliminate Schultz at the Palace Chophouse tavern in Newark, N.J. in 1935.

Buchalter died in the electric chair at Sing Sing Prison on March 4, 1944.

Louis "Lepke" Buchalter (Feb. 6, 1897 to March 4, 1944) was the head of "Murder, Incorporated" a group formed to carry out murders for the Mafia.
