Mob Boss Daniel Kinahan steps away from boxing promoter

Daniel Kinahan - who helped broker the Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua fight - has stepped away from promoting boxing after senior Irish government officials contacted the United Arab Emirates. Although never convicted of an offense, the promoter has been identified by an Irish court as a senior figure in organized crime on a global scale.

It is common knowledge that he and his father, who live in Dubai, are behind an international drug network worth billions. Comments were not kind ... “very senior figure in organised crime on a global scale has rebranded himself as a boxing promoter in the Middle East" "parasitical criminal activities of this individual”
10 days ago Tyson Fury effused about Kinahan. Two days ago he severed his ties. Kinahan escaped unhurt in 2016 when rival gangsters dressed as police opened fire during a boxing weigh-in at Dublin’s Regency hotel. He jumped out of a window to preserve his life.

Bulgarian PM Borissov appearing the Gangster - Kompromat

Tzvetan TzvetanovBorissov responded to recent photos ... “I have a handgun and I don’t part with it. From today, I will sleep with the gun,” The PM said that the money was brought in for the photos, or the images were doctored. Borissov did not dispute the veracity of the photo of him sleeping, but he said everything else was a set-up staged by his political opponents. “The KGB textbooks say that when you create compromising material (kompromat), it must be such that it inspires disgust ... All that was missing was a little boy next to me.” Borissov said. 'Kompromat' is a Russian term meaning “compromising material,” collected for the purpose of blackmail.
Asked who was behind the kompromats, Borissov had answers. He named his former number two, Tzvetan Tzvetanov, the country’s president, Rumen Radev, the opposition Bulgarian Socialist Party, and the leaders of two new political parties.
Boyko Borissov’s third term as Bulgaria’s prime minister has been marked by constant scandals, but none compare to the latest - photos showing Borissov with large stacks of cash and a Glock 9mm. Media received anonymous photographs of Borissov sleeping in his bedroom next to a handgun and a drawer full of €500 bills and gold.
Borissov confirmed their authenticity. Borissov has built his image of an all powerful strongman who controls everyone in the country.
The attack on Borissov might have come from fugitive gambling mogul Vassil Bozhkov, dubbed Cherepa (The Skull). Hiding in the UAE after being charged on 18 counts in Bulgaria, he previously initiated an attack against Borissov, claiming he had blackmailed him.

Colombian traffickers squeezing more cocaine out of fewer plants

A 9% drop of 15,000 hectares of coca crops in Colombia made no difference in reducing cocaine production in 2019, instead it increased compared with the previous year. Production of cocaine increased 1.5%, to 1,136 metric tons in 2019.

Coca crops have been concentrated in territories favorable to the "complete production cycle." Enormous laboratories requiring infrastructure and huge manpower are on the way out. Strategic location and technical ability are what matters most to the Colombia trafficker now.

White Power HA bikers make waves in Stillwater

The 'Aryan Cowboy' MC, along with Hells Angels, made waves with their racism towards a Muslim mother. Stillwater police escorted her and her daughter to their car and watched them safely drive away. Mayor Ted Kozlowski said the bikers were not from Stillwater and don't represent the town.

Wise guy Frank Giovinco going away for 48 months

Genovese soldier Frank Giovinco, 52, was convicted in December. He was sentenced to four years in prison for extortion and racketeering conspiracies. He “instilled fear in victims and perpetrated kickback schemes to tighten the Family’s stranglehold over two labor unions."

Giovinco first came onto the scene in the 1990’s when the family inserted him into a scheme to control the waste carting industry in New York City. He rose through the ranks as an enforcer, working mainly with Brooklyn labor unions.
Giovinco and others committed “a wide range of crimes, including multiple acts of extortion, honest services fraud, and bribery.” Giovinco extorted for a cut of commissions made on union investments. Audio recordings captured Giovinco planning to “rattle the cage” of a victim, and to have the other’s “feet held to the fire.”

The call was recorded by Vincent Fyfe, a union official-turned mob informant. Fyfe got the union job through his grandfather, mob boss Vincent Gigante.
Giovinco also extorted 'tribute' payments.

Hells Angels Nanaimo clubhouse getting a facelift

The forlorn clubhouse has sat empty since 2007, when police raided it. It was seized along with two others in the province under B.C.’s then new Civil Forfeiture Act. Within 48 hours of the judge's decision the 'death head' was back on the refreshed building.

Revell deportation delayed due to Covid-19

Former Kelowna Hells Angels associate David Roger Revell, 56, has had his deportation order halted the day before he was to leave Canada. This time it's due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

He is a U.K. citizen but has been in Canada since the age of 10. Revell's 2016 deportation order is all about 'serious and organized criminality.'
Revell argued that the U.K. has been hit hard by the virus, and he would be forced to quarantine for 14 days upon his arrival, or face a £1k fine. He said he is destitute and without funds.

Richard Eduardo Riquelme Vega - the Rich One

There's more trouble in paradise for Richard Eduardo Riquelme Vega. 'El Rico' (the Rich One) Evidence against him comes from Blackberry phones found on Kinahan associate Naoufal ‘Belly’ Fassih in April 2016. One message saw El Rico email Fassih in Dublin about “500 kilos” they planned to deliver to “that snake”, a reference to another Dutch criminal. The torso of 23-year-old Moroccan Nabil Amzieb was discovered in a burning car.
Vega was arrested in a Santiago hotel in 2017 after ariving from Dubai. He’s wanted in Holland, where a brutal turf war culminated with a severed head being found on an Amsterdam street.
El Rico is believed to be on the top rung of the gang responsible for the beheading and is the right-hand man of Naoufal Fassih, who was arrested in Dublin in a Kinahan safe house. At least 16 people have died in the Netherlands, Belgium and Spain in related underworld killings since March 2012, when a Dutch gang known as the Turtles stole cocaine worth £14m, part of a larger shipment – much of it destined for the British market. Known as "the most dangerous Chilean in the world", El Rico and his Moroccan associates in the Netherlands have forged tight links with the Kinahan mob. The Dublin-based Kinahans are key players in the trade.
Crime boss Christy Kinahan
The arrest of El Rico was another major blow to the Kinahans. Over 18 months, police seized €4m in cash, €55m in drugs and 40 firearms.

With the chain of the distribution broken, organized crime groups will need to reorganize as they look for new supply. Police fear the potential chaos of a drug feud. Prices of cocaine soared for dealers and users. Drug barons in Glasgow can currently buy 98 percent pure cocaine for up to £42,000 a kilo. It is heavily cut and by the time it’s sold for £35 to £55 a gram on the streets, its purity can be less than 10%.
